We are excited to announce that we are moving on May 1, 2017 to our new office location at 22912 Vantage Pointe Drive. The building, previously Roberson CPA’s, is a short drive from our existing offices.

 Our new location is more than just offices. It is a professional, multi-purpose facility that enables us to provide better service by meeting multiple unmet needs shared by our fire, water, sewer and park departments. The facility includes the following improvements:

Decontamination Facility Shower and extractor (decontamination washing machine) facilities are installed to safely remove the dangerous contaminants our employees come in contact with on a regular basis (i.e. blood borne pathogens, smoke carcinogens and sewage). No such facilities existed prior to this new facility.

Emergency Equipment Storage A fenced area provides safe, all-season access to heavy emergency equipment needed to stop sewer spills. Formerly, this equipment was not safely accessible during winter conditions.

Live Fire Training Facility – A two-story burn prop enables our firefighters to train under live fire conditions so they can more effectively respond to fires in the District. It is the only live fire training facility in the County.

Classroom Training FacilityOur board room doubles as a classroom facility for fire, water and sewer training courses required by the state. It will help bring excellent instructors to us and minimize out-of-county travel related to training.  It also provides a venue for community and Community Emergency Response Team training.

Physical Training Facility – Our firefighters perform regular physical training to avoid injuries and provide effective fire and rescue services. Thanks to generous equipment donations, they can now train at this facility.



No. Our board and staff have worked hard to ensure that this facility did not impact rates. The repurposed facility and is paid for by the sale of a vacant property we owned downtown and the sale of our old office building.  Costs were kept to a minimum with hundreds of hours from dedicated volunteers, and tens of thousands of dollars of donated materials, equipment and supplies. The facility costs are split amongst each department based on benefit provided.  For example, water and sewer rate revenues are only used to cover costs related to the portions of the facility that provide water and sewer benefits.



Our old office building is available for lease and is also in escrow to be sold. The building is being offered as five small/medium units at rates designed to help small businesses successfully establish themselves in Twain Harte.



We invite you to come see our facility after any of our regular board meetings - 9:00 a.m. on the second Thursday of the month.
