Twain Harte CSD Receives Tourism Advocate of the Year Award

The Twain Harte Community Services District (THCSD) has been recognized by Visit Tuolumne County with the Tourism Advocate of the Year Award, honoring the District’s efforts to enhance Twain Harte’s parks, recreational amenities, and visitor experience.
General Manager Tom Trott attended Visit Tuolumne County’s Tourism Summit and Industry Awards on October 15, 2026, at Chicken Ranch Casino Resort to accept the award on behalf of the District.

Visit Tuolumne County selected THCSD for its leadership and efforts to support tourism through improvements to Twain Harte’s parks and recreational facilities. The District’s recreational offerings include the area’s distinctive clay tennis courts, amazingly popular pickleball courts, a playground nestled among the pines, and bocce ball courts. Eproson Park’s outdoor stage also hosts concerts and community events throughout the year, bringing residents and visitors together.
Twain Harte Meadows Park adds another unique experience, combining local history, recreation, and environmental education. The park features interactive learning areas that demonstrate how simple landscaping techniques can capture and reuse stormwater, improve water quality, and support a healthier environment. Meadows Park provides opportunities to explore, learn, and enjoy the outdoors while showcasing what makes Twain Harte such a special place to visit.
The District is honored to receive this recognition and grateful to the staff, Board of Directors, community partners, volunteers, and residents who help make these improvements possible. THCSD remains committed to caring for local parks and facilities and enhancing the experience of everyone who visits Twain Harte.
Thank you to Visit Tuolumne County for recognizing the District’s work and for supporting the people and organizations that make Tuolumne County such a wonderful place to visit.
