Regional Water Conservation Rebate Program
 

All Tuolumne County residents and businesses are eligible to receive rebates for installing water-saving appliances in their homes and businesses!   Rebates are offered through the Twain Harte Community Services District and Tuolumne Utilities District, in partnership with the Tuolumne County Resource Conservation District.  This rebate program is made possible by a $3 million grant awarded to the Tuolumne County Resource Conservation District (TCRCD) for a Regional Water Conservation Program and is anticipated to last until December, 2020.  The grant is part of a larger $8.1 million grant awarded to the Tuolumne-Stanislaus Integrated Regional Water Management Authority by the Department of Water Resources in July 2014 for drought related projects.

Residential Rebates

All Tuolumne County residents are eligible for a rebate of up to $100 for one Watersense labeled toilet and up to $25 for one Watersense labeled showerhead, purchased as early as January 1, 2017. According to the EPA, replacing just one conventional toilet and one conventional showerhead with Watersense approved models could save the average american household 15,900 gallons of water per year! Some models can even be found at a price below the rebate amount. 

Business Rebates

All Tuolumne County businesses are also eligible for the toilet rebate program and can receive up to 70% off their purchase of WaterSense toilets.

Restaurants are also eligible to receive up to 70% off their purchase of a pre-rinse dish sprayer. A pre-rinse faucet and sprayer is perfect for rinsing excess food and sauces from dishes prior to running them through a commercial dishwashing machine, saving both water and money.

If you are a Twain Harte CSD customer, complete the below application and turn it in with your receipts in person at the District office, by mail (P.O. Box 649, Twain Harte, CA 95383), or by email (info@twainhartecsd.com).  

All other residents of Tuolumne County can receive their application through TUD at www.tudwater.com.
