Jim Johnson and his wife, Pat, became full-time Twain Harte residents in 1999 after his retirement from a 40-year career in the field of medical intravenous solutions and a position of company vice president. Although born and raised in Hayward, California, his family has been involved in Twain Harte since the early 1940’s after purchasing a family cabin. In fact, he met Pat in Twain Harte while working as a lifeguard at Twain Harte Lake. Since their return, he has served and, in many cases, continues to serve as board president/chairman for numerous community service organizations, including Twain Harte Community Services District, Sonora Area Foundation, Twain Harte Homeowners, Twain Harte Lake Association, Partners for Twain Harte and Twain Harte SIRS (Sons in Retirement).
He has served on the Twain Harte Community Services District board of directors since 2003, where he takes pride in insisting on responsible fiscal management through reasonable budget control and appropriate rate and parcel tax management.
