Bill McManus is a retired professor of Construction Science at the University of Oklahoma. He was active in the development of construction education across the country and is a past president of the Associated Schools of Construction. He moved to Twain Harte, the childhood home of his wife Frances, after retiring in 2013. He has a desire to be active in the community and currently serves as the membership chairman for Twain Harte SIRS (Sons in Retirement) and as a founding member of Twain Harte Area CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). He. was appointed to the Twain Harte Community Services District Board in June of 2015. His main hobby these days is exploring his back yard which doubles as many people’s dream vacation destination.
