The District manages Eproson Park and its amenities including the Rotary Stage, youth and tot playgrounds, skatepark, baseball fields, picnic and barbeque areas as well as the Twain Harte Community Center, Twain Harte Tennis Courts and Twain Harte Creek Trail. What the Assessment does. The $4 per month assessment provides critical revenues to: n Improve maintenance of existing park and recreation facilities n Address increased insurance, fuel and electrical costs n Covers increased cost for park lighting and security programs n Provides funds for mandated renovations to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act and Consumer Product Safety Commission guidelines for public playgrounds n Eliminates budget shortfalls which have been funded from other CSD services n Continues to provide safe park facilities which increase youth and family-oriented programs n Protect the structural integrity of tennis courts and parking lots through regular maintenance n Replace failing and aged operational equipment and facilities How it works? n A modest assessment of approximately $4 per month ($49 per year for an average household) is included with your annual property tax bill. n A cost of living adjustment of not more than 3% per year will be added to ensure that revenues grow in line with the cost of park maintenance.
